Awareness Program on International Dignified Menstruation Day
On the occasion of International Dignified Menstruation Day, the Social Service Club of Kathmandu Model Secondary School, in collaboration with the Literature Club, organized a meaningful awareness program at Prabhat School, Gwarko, for students of Grades 4 and 5.
Promoting Knowledge and Hygiene
This initiative aimed to educate young students about the importance of menstrual health and hygiene while fostering a supportive and dignified perspective toward menstruation. The interactive session used age-appropriate tools and activities to ensure the information was well-understood and impactful.
Building Awareness from a Young Age
The program emphasized breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation and encouraged open discussions, helping students build confidence and knowledge. It also highlighted the importance of promoting dignity and equality in schools and society regarding menstrual health.
A Joint Effort for Change
The collaboration between the Social Service Club and the Literature Club reflects a unified effort toward addressing social taboos and empowering young minds. Together, they took a step toward creating an inclusive and informed community.
